The D-321 (Generation 3) high performance, modular, hand-held night vision binocular uses dual image intensifier tubes to provide crisp, clear images in the darkest conditions.
This versitile night vision binocular includes the advanced features of automatic brightness and gain control. Each image tube operates independently allowing for superior depth perception as compared to single image tube devices. This dual tube (stereoscopic) design also simulates a more natural vision, due to the fact that each eye sees its' own slightly different image, just like the natural unaided eyes. This unique patented design eliminates any need for interpupillary adjustment and reduces the size and weight of the unit. An integrated near IR illuminator enhances the ability to operate the binocular at close distances.
At 3.6x magnification it has the perfect balance of good field of view, easy acquisition of target, and strong low light performance. This is a great night vision binocular for use on moving targets such as active wildlife. It is also very effective to use while on moving vessels such as boats and ships.
This powerful 3.6x D-321B Binocular converts easily into the D-321G 1x night vision Goggle with a 40* wide field of view by simple replacement of front objective lenses. The goggle attaches quickly to an ambidextrous headgear assembly for hands-free use. This dual use feature gives you goggle and binocular capability for the price of one single unit!
