Hogs have moved in and are taking over. After having crops destroyed by these hogs I decided to fight back. I contacted Night Vision 4 less. Explained my problem to the sales staff. He explained how night vision works. Asked questions which indicated to me that he knows marksmanship!!! He wanted to know what distance I would be shooting. Caliber rifle. He made suggestions. And explained why he was suggesting this product. We both agreed that the D-760 autogated pinnacle with manual gain adjustment. Since then we have taken many hogs with this scope. Got it after talking to sales person. Seems like they know of it more than any other sites I have being trying to work with. Nice and clear view. More than 1 mile with stars, very much up to 300 yards with suggested IR illumination, with no any lights at all. I got my deer in 2013 only because I was able to track one with this piece of equipment. Definitely will recommend to any hog hunters, who is dealing with it. FOV is excellent for x6 magnification, clarity is surprising. Also, life of the batteries about 50- 60 hr, and it is more than enough for one hunting trip.

Just purchased this D-760 scope model after much research. It is unbelievable! I'm seeing out 400 yards plus with this scope without even using an IR illuminator. Living in Iowa we are not allowed to hunt with night vision that uses any infrared illumination so that left out all Gen 1 and most Gen 2 scope choices. Not being able to use IR illumination I wanted the strongest night vision I could get and all my research led me to this hand select model with manual gain control. Mounted on top of my 22-250, for coyote, fox, and bobcat hunting this is the ultimate piece of equipment. If you can afford this scope get one, it will blow you away.

I've had this scope for almost a month now and all I can say is wow. We've gotten more hogs in 3 weeks than we have in 6 months hunting in day light. Honestly I didn't know that night vision could be this good. We have used some other higher end set ups that friends have let us borrow but this thing takes first prize. It has a lot more range and a clearer pitcher than the other night vision scopes we've tried. It also doesn't strain my shooting eye after a little while like some of the others which would sometimes lead to me getting a headache and ending my night out. This model did cost almost 4 times what the gun it's on cost but the gun can't see in the dark and neither can I without it so for me it was worth the investment. If you need something for hog control I would recommend this scope.
