Available with a variety of Gen III and Gen IV image tubes, the
Multi-use ATN NVM14 is a high-performance, modular, handheld, passive Night Vision Monocular Goggle. It
utilizes a single Gen III or Gen IV intensifier tube to provide ultra-bright, crisp, clear images under
the darkest conditions. The ATN NVM14 single tube / single eyepiece approach to Night Vision
Goggles is based upon the proven concept that independent use of each eye maximizes the ability of the
user to operate under a wide range of low light conditions. This tactic tends to enhance the field of view
while reducing the risks of temporary night blindness typically associated with Night Vision Goggles. With
the ATN NVM14, the user retains his full peripheral vision in the unaided eye in conjunction with the 40°
FOV offered by the night vision device. The highly modular design also allows the ATN NVM14 Night Vision
Goggles to be installed on reflex cameras and camcorders using an optional adapter. The integrated near-IR
illuminator enhances the ability of the user to read maps and operate in confined spaces. And, the NVM-14
Monocular can be handheld or installed in a standard PVS-7 head-mount (included), on a helmet mount, or
two can be installed in an optional dual-carriage head-mount, providing dual-eye hands free Night Vision
Goggles. The ATN NVM-14 is smaller and lighter than the Milspec PVS-14 Night Vision Goggle, and is fully
submersible to a depth of 66 feet (20 Meters). The NVM-14 works with either a single AA, or 3.5 volt
lithium battery, offering flexibility for weight and battery life. The integrated IR illuminator enhances
the ability of the user to read maps, and operate in confined spaces. The NVM14-4 is compatible with most
all weapon mounted IR laser aiming and illuminating devices. The NVM-14 ships with a standard PVS7
headset, an instruction manual, and one lithium battery.
