The Mini-14 is the most recent NVG goggle to be adopted by US Military. Developed as an alternative to the PVS-14,
the Mini-14 was designed to be submersible, lighter, more versatile, and easier to use in situations where its
predecessors were not adequate. The super-lightweight milspec body is waterproof to 66 feet deep(20 Meters), allowing this system to handle the toughest of environments.
The super-compact size allows the Mini-14 to rest closer to your eye than most models. Combined with its short length, it provides
an incredibly full 40 degree field of view. And, the precision ground milspec glass provides distortion free images from edge to edge.
As a hands free goggle, the Mini-14 provides more natural viewing-in-motion than any other night vision device.
A leap above the Mini-14 mono-goggle, the Mini-14B binocular goggle allows comfortable dual-eye viewing through
two Mini-14s. Two monoculars are mated using the Night Optics Mini-14 Binocular Rack, providing perfect alignment,
eye-width adjustment, and a central PVS7-style headset/helmet mount. The dual tube/dual eyepiece design provides true stereoscopic
vision, and preserves depth perception for an incredible experience.
Optional 3x and 5x milspec lenses can be purchased to quickly transform the Mini-14B into unrivaled magnified binoculars.
Also, the Mini-14s can be easily seperated for use as handheld night vision monoculars, or installed in single-carriage
headmounts (included) for monocular-goggle use. The included quick-release weapon mounts also allow the user to transform either Mini-14
into a night vision rifle sight.
Each monocular of the Night Optics Mini-14B uses either a single AA, or a 3.5 volt lithium battery,
offering more flexibility and longer battery life. And, each has an integrated IR illuminator
to aid in map reading and operation in confined spaces, and to provide additional distance and
clarity in pitch-black conditions.
This package ships with (2) Mini-14 monoculars, and (1) Night Optics USA Mini-14 Bino Rack.
Included with each monocular is a quick-release headset/helmet mount, milspec headgear, extra brow pads,
demist shield, sacrificial window, (1) 3v CR123 battery, (1) AA battery, lens tissue, operating manual,
and warranty card. The Night Optics Mini-14 night vision goggles are covered by a two-year warranty.
