The Mini-14 has been developed as an alternative to the US Military
issue AN/PVS-14. Its design was driven by the need for a submersible device, which is lighter, more
versatile, and easier to use in situations where standard equipment is inadequate. Capable of operating in
depths of over 60 feet, using either an AA or CR123 single battery, and incorporating headgear and weapon
mount as its standard accessories, the Mini-14 is capable of handling any task set before it. Precision
ground lenses produce distortion free viewing, and the Mini-14’s short length gives it a full 40
degree field of view. Outfitted with a 3x Milspec magnification lens (included in this kit), the Mini-14
quickly converts from an ultra-lightweight goggle, to a super crisp magnified monocular. When it comes to
excellent images from a compact monocular, the Mini-14 is hard to beat. The Mini-14 night vision monocular
ships with a soft carry case, quick-realease mil-spec headgear and adapter for hands free viewing, a quick
release weapon mount, extra brow pads, demist sheild, sacraficial window, one 3v cr123 battery, one AA
battery, lens tissue, operating manual, and warranty card. (Mini-14-A also ships with image tube data

Night Optics MINI-14-B Generation 3 Night Vision Monoculars: The Mini-14-B generation 3 is built
around an image tube with a B-grade blemish rating (low occurrence), having a higher blemish frequency
and/or intensity than the Standard and A-grade Mini-14. Any blemishes will appear as black specs, with a
frequency and intensity deemed not to detract from normal viewing.
Night Optics MINI-14-ST Generation 3 Night Vision Monoculars: The Mini-14-ST generation 3 is built
around an image tube with an A to B intermediate blemish rating, having a slightly higher occurrence of
blemishes than the A-grade Mini-14.
Night Optics MINI-14-A Generation 3 Night Vision Monoculars: The Mini-14-A generation 3 is built
around an image tube with an A-grade blemish rating, having a minimal occurrence of blemishes.
